Xbox 360Microsoft has officially announced a price cut of the Xbox 360 in Europe, leading in to the Christmas season.



Starting Friday, September 19th, all three versions of the Xbox 360 will be reduced in price.

The Arcade unit (which comes with a Memory Unit in lieu of a hard drive) will be reduced to £129.99.

The 60GB Model has dropped to £169.99 and the Elite (120GB hard drive) will be priced at £229.99

While the Arcade has been the cheapest console on the market for some time, now the 60GB version will join it as cheaper options than the Nintendo Wii.

“Xbox 360 has now sold over 20 million consoles worldwide and due to its unprecedented success, we are now able to pass on the rewards of that success to the consumer with a new retail pricing from £129.99”, said Neil Thompson, Senior Regional Director, Microsoft UK.

Check your favourite retailers on Friday, when the Xbox 360 will have its price slashed.

Activision have relaeased videos and pictures of the new game from the award winning series, Call OF Duty.

All though this game may not be around on the esports secene for long (cod6 released next year) with some "pro" gamers saying this means that it is a waste of time and critics pointing out that activision are draining every penny out of the latest big game just like with the MoH series, this looks set to be an awesome game, stunning grapphix awesome game play and new ways to interact with your environment.

Personally I am really hoping that we will be able to shimmy up trees and sniper liek it shows towards the end of the trailer.

This may not be a top esports title, but it is certainly sure to be a smash in retail sales for the casual gaming market.

my favorite addition is the co-op mode on xbox version, I'm looking forward to late night missions with friends beer and pizza :D

The Dutch contingent of the federation released the following press statement:

In a recent symposium in South Korea all leading national e-Sport organizations, being South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark and the Netherlands, came together to sign a letter of intent to establish the International e-Sport Federation (IeSF). Jasper Schoo, chairman of the Dutch E-sportbond, was accompanied by Eric Luijpers of the NOC*NSF (Dutch Olympic Committee).

The main goals of the IeSF are to bundle the power and experience of the different organizations to stimulate the growth and quality of e-Sports and improve acceptation. In November the IeSF will be formally established in Seoul, Korea, and will be accompanied by a big e-Sport event.

Jasper Schoo, chairman of the E-sportbond: “I’m proud that the E-sportbond is among these powerful e-Sport organizations and can participate in the IeSF. This offers us opportunities as E-sportbond to stay internationally involved with the growth of e-Sports”.

Eric Luijpers, Senior account manager at NOC*NSF: “During the symposium and exceptional finals of the event with thousands of spectators in South Korea it is clear what chances e-Sports have to offer. The founding of the IeSF is a good development for e-Sports in the Netherlands. Besides the fact that thousands of people playing games in the countries of the present organizations, e-Sports can be put to use for different goals like in London to keep youngsters off the streets. Transferring knowledge and experience between these countries through the international federation is guaranteed”.

One notable figure involved will be the Danish representative, Jens Christian Ringdal, organiser of The eXperience LAN's.

If the Fable 1 had wowed you with getting in and out of chicken kicking rehab, this time in Fable II things are just going to get hotter. This time, un-epic gameplay of Fable II consists of taking part in an orgy, responsibly in order to get the Swinger achievement. The responsibly part sort of mellows down the tone which otherwise sounds explicit and sexually hardcore. Nevertheless, you would also find stuff like The Bigamist achievement or ‘The Romantic’, which is about taking a villager for a drink. In the Part Animal, 15 villagers would get drunk in 3 minutes. Other features of the game are ‘The Goth’, “Cliff Diver’, ‘The Paragon’ ‘The parent’ etc. We feel there is still much room for improvement as there are other games in the market too, which can provide stiff competition. ]]>
